# Hang Time

> Hang Time is a Connecticut grassroots social justice organization founded by Charles (Charlie) Grady that supports returning citizens, families, women, and young people through community programs, mentorship, social-service navigation, and violence-prevention work.

Founded in 2014, Hang Time works to reduce violence and recidivism through individual empowerment, community engagement, and stronger connections.
